Challengers EU has not disappointed and there have been plenty of flops and very big upsets plus there seems to be a new team vying for the top spot.

G2

When G2 announced the roster I was ecstatic and I thought "hey maybe G2 will attain some sort of relevance again" but when they lost to Team finest(they are a actual good team btw no disrespect)  in the LVP rising series I then thought "welp G2 are finished now". Suddenly, during challengers 1 they beat FNATIC in the round of 16 and I was shocked because I expected FNC to roll them. Then they beat FNATIC again and they have qualified for EMEA challengers playoffs and this team is now looking very very scary. Firstly it seems Boaster was correct about Mixwell he is incredible on sentinel and I genuinely think he is one of the best sentinel players in Europe. Secondly Keloqz is so nutty on jett and he could be a top 3 jett in EU but the true test is against cNed who has been on fire recently. Also there is Koldamenta who has done a great job utilizing his new tools at G2. Avova is cementing his place as one of the best sage player in EU. Last but definitely not least Nukkye who has looked amazing and this man is a headshot machine and he is probably the best non jett duelist.

FNATIC and LIQUID DISAPPOINTING

Its fair to say that FNATIC disappointed in challengers 1 by going out in 5th-6th place. Nonetheless, I expected this because when FNATIC were SUMN  after a strong performance at red bull homeground and first strike the roster  began to drop off and FNATIC decided to cut Moe40 and Tsack which was a sad thing to see. However I hope that FNATIC can bounce back from a disappointing challengers 1 soon. Liquid are again disappointing but they have changed the composition which looks pretty promising. Jamppi has moved to omen and he looks way better on omen than he does on jett which is a good sign. ScreaM is back on jett and he is really good on jett but I await consistent placings from liquid.

TEAM HERETICS

Its no secret to say Team Heretics are in a rock and a hard place now. Heretics bombed out of the open qualifier losing to bkROG in the open qualifier. Although this is a very poor performance from Heretics I believe that they still need more time in the oven but don;t expect them to be how they were with nukkye and Avova. Honestly i think the team is finished now and i don't think they will achieve relevance anymore. Finally i'm going to criticize the Heretics CEO who said he was "disappointed by G2's extreme poaching tactics". G2 poach all the time and its nothing new so stamping your feet will do nothing.
