Hello everyone and today I will talk about the EG problem and what they could do to fix it. Recently, EG have made a roster change and Osias, Clawdia and Aleksandar have parted ways with EG and to compensate Roca, Branted and Pho have been signed. Firstly let me start off by saying I hugely respect the commitment to the mixed roster because it's not just a PR statement and hopefully in the future these rosters can become more common in the future.

THE ROSTER MOVES

Removing Aleksandar wasn't a good idea because I think he is way more versatile than Roca who only plays Reyna and this I feel will put a ceiling on EG's potential. Other than that I think the roster moves were ok because Clawdia goes to CLG red which gives her a chance at more success. Osias was very underwhelming and I'm glad that they have parted ways with him.

THE PROBLEM WITH THE COMMUNITY 

Unfortunately Potter went 5-14 vs EZ5 and like a match Reddit ignited and criticized Potter which was definitely unwarranted. Secondly I would like people to remember pro players are real human beings and I highly highly doubt the average Redditor would do any better in her situation. Although she performed poorly she doesn't deserve the hate the community has given her. Also she is IGL which means she isn't expected to have amazing stats.

THE FIX

In my opinion the fix to make EG a consistent T2 team Roca has to try anything else other than Reyna because he is limiting himself and Reyna is a selfish type of agent. Step 2 go look for a upcoming female IGL that can frag decently and has a similar agent pool to potter.
