Hello everyone i wasn't expecting to write a part 3 of this but again im not surprised a player spoke out against the management. However, the shocking thing is it comes from Spyder and it shines a bigger light on the toxic work environment that he was in and it also shows that not even the players are innocent. If you are new to the website i would highly recommend reading the 2 parts that i wrote a couple of months ago as it will provide some much needed context. Also i should clarify that this is before First strike and after the reddit post came out spyder wrote a twitlonger which says that the team environment is different now and he is happy with dazed and skadoodle.
Now lets begin. As we all know Frod is very vocal about how bad T1 management is and it's true and frod talks about T1's current coach and he said he is bad for coaching but since he has a background in psychology (i believe it was that i don't know the specifics) he would have been a good psychologist which could have helped the team with their internal issues at the time. According to the VOD the most shocking thing was that ska and dazed treated spyder horribly because of the language barrier and some of the team were surprised with ska's behaviour since he was known as being a very nice guy in the past. (ska had some personal issues at the time and he pushed to find psychiatrists and therapists to help the team)
Frod also praises spyder because he was a amazing teammate and he was a very hard worker who was willing to play ranked and spend server time with his teammates. Also, frod reiterates his complaints with Dazed's IGL style saying "he igl's like 2014 CS" this is evident in their gameplay (even spyder noticed his outdated IGLing style) because they have slow executes and low utility usage.Frod says that spyder tried to quit 3 times but T1's Korean managers talked him down and that he was the only one who would comfort spyder because he couldn't understand why they weren't being nice to him.
Another shocking thing is dazed and ska wanted to cut spyder of the team many times and he was close to buying a ticket back to Korea because he couldn't deal with them. T1 management didn't want to kick dazed or ska and they didn't want to get younger names because they weren't as famous as ska and dazed. (this confirms that T1 are in valorant just to profit off big names)
Frod talked about potentially getting FNS who would have replaced skadoodle at the time would have (maybe) helped the team but Frod couldn't cut skadoodle because T1 management wanted him to stay and instead they wanted to cut AZK. Unfortunately for them FNS stayed with envy because he had some problems with Brax and the T1 general manager. (wawa)
Also you may ask yourself "why didn't they speak up about it" but the players were scared and rightly so because they could probably lose their jobs by raising the issue.
In conclusion this highlights the internal issues pretty clearly and i genuinely feel sorry for spyder because he is a great player in a toxic environment. T1 management aren't surprisig me at all with their draconian standards and i'm very shocked and saddened that ska and dazed are treating people poorly. Today i close the book of T1 but mark my words i'm pretty sure something will come up that involves them and we will have to open Pandora's box yet again.
dazed's response- Not really sure what to say, I definitely had to give criticism to saya and fix mistakes, and I also had to learn when to speak to him (any criticism or talk was done strictly during vod review and not during any live practice)
