FNATIC have emerged as the VCT eu challengers champions beating liquid 3-1 in the grand finals of the VCT EU challengers 2  and boy oh boy the match was a absolute banger but before talking about that i will summarize what has happened in challengers.

QUARTERFINALS- VITALITY VS ACEND

Team Vitality have had anything but smooth sailing since the inception of their valorant roster and the recent roster change they made beforehand had me a little bit concerned. Feqew was really nutty but m4china was a jett one trick (he couldn't really play sova well) so i see the motive for a roster change. Then we have JESMUND and Lowkii andi thought before the match "ok they are finished easy acend 2-0 but no they put up a fight and actually win.Kiles looked like a god absolutely clapping vitality in the first map but then vitality came back with a great defense and eventually won the map 14-12. The second map was less of the same except vitality have a good defense and acend try and make the comeback which was close but they couldn't do it vitality take the map 14-12 again

G2 VS FNATIC

i have to admit el classico was ok both teams had a lot to prove (especially G2 because of first strike) but map 1 was bind and everybody knows FNATIC have arguably one of the best bind maps in EU so they dominated g2 13-5 with constant aggresion. Map 2 looked a little bit different though after a very close first half FNATIC were pulling ahead 12-6 but G2 tried to make a comeback but alas it wasnt meant to be the dominant ignition series champions fall out of rejavik contention FNATIC win 13-11.

TEAM BDS VS NIP

 NIP maaaaaan i WANT the roster to succeed in the long term but they just keep falling short at the last hurdle. However what a debut dfuse had under Team BDS    banner. NIP had just started to get it together before jady had internet issues which stopped the map being played for maybe 2 hours (i swear jady has mcdonalds wifi) and then NIP won the first map. I could just end it here but no NIP got dominated on both maps (13-4 split) and (13-6 bind)

SEMIFINALS (AKA THE BEST PART OF TOURNEYS)

Now we get to the good stuff my friends and this is where teams truly show their stuff and ALL of the teams need to prove themselves to earn the last 2 emea spots for challengers finals remaining teams have to give it their all.

VITALITY VS FNATIC

Vitality have just come off the back of a win vs the masters 1 champions acend and vitality started off pretty well on haven just holding off FNATIC but what started as a 7-5 half turned into a 13-9 victory for fnatic. Icebox was a bit tighter but vitality couldnt exploit any of fnatic's weaknesses (acend were exploited by fnatic) and then it was finished a 13-10 to seal the fate of vitality. All things said though vitality look pretty good jesmund is a stellar viper and same for lowkii on sova so maybe just maybe they could go higher.

TEAM BDS VS LIQUID

What a belter this game was my god. L1NK is now english hiko after winning those insane clutches you cant possibly say liquid is scream and team now this match is definitely why you would want to be a liquid fan. However L1NK wasnt just the star of the show the whole team shined screaM had yet another incredible performance and jamppi turned on his monitor in the second map as well. Although liquid looked great though BDS did put up a fight by keeping things tight on 2 maps until liquid finally pulled through 13-6 and i definitely see a alternate reality where AKUMA wins or stops one of the clutches l1nk has.

FINAL FNATIC VS LIQUID

Now this was tiiiiiiiiiiiight (until the last 2 maps) but something i would like to point out is FNATIC constantly shut down jamppi when he tried to dash aggresively into cubby and while he has his moments of greatness sideshow (aka sidethrow) sums up his problem perfectly "i think jamppi has good mechanics but poor decision making" but i think with more experience he can make the mistakes he made vs FNC lesss but back to the good stuff FNC are BACK the new additions of derke and magnum were great and magnum had a incredible 1 v 3 clutch. Doma and derke perfectly complement each other when they play and i think this team can go far now after months of disappointing results this is definitely a redemption arc.
